Taj Mahal

This is an architectural brilliance that is made of white marble and has inscriptions and semi precious stones that adorn the walls of the structure.

It lies adjacent to River Yamuna. It took approximately 22 years to complete the entire structure. And it is believed that craftsmen from far off places were brought in to complete the structure. As many as 35,000 men worked on the Taj Mahal.

Chini Ka Rauza

This is Afzal Khan Aalmi’s mausoleum who was the prime minister of Emperor Shah Jahan. Commonly referred to as “Maula Shukrulla Shirazi”, the prime minister was also a poet. The Chini Ka Rauza was built in the year 1635.

Agra Fort

The Agra Fort was built in the year 1565.The construction of the Agra Fort was initiated by Akbar, the Great. But the fort underwent changes at different stages till the time Shah Jahan ruled. Some of the monuments that you will find inside the Agra fort are Diwan-I-Am, Moti Masjid, Musamman Burj, Diwan-I-Khas, and Shish Mahal etc.

Rambagh Garden

Rambagh Garden is the Mughal garden that was laid by Babur, one of the greatest Mughal Emperors. It is believed that for a short while Babur, the founder of Mughal Dynasty was buried here before he was taken to Kabul, Afghanistan.

Agra Cantonment Railway Station, Raja-ki-Mandi Railway Station, Agra Fort Railway Stationand Tundla Railway Station are easily accessible from different parts of the city.

There are regular bus services that you can avail if you want to tour around different parts of the city. In other words, communication is not a problem within the city.
