City Palace
The City Palace Complex of Udaipur spells beauty at its enamoring best. Replete with 11 beautiful palaces that are marked by courtyards, pavilions and hanging gardens besides being with surmounted by balconies, towers and cupolas, the City Palace is one of the largest palace complexes in Rajasthan.
Lake Palace
Situated in the midst of the Lake Pichola, the island Lake Palace is the most endearing landmark of Udaipur. Built by Maharana Jagat Singh II in 1754, the white marble structure is an incredibly beautiful palace.
Saheliyon-Ki- Bari
The gardens of The Saheliyon-ki-Bari, which was used as a leisurely retreat for the royal ladies of Udaipur still maintains its regal ambience, what with its lotus pool, fountains (in the shape of birds), lush green lawns, flowerbeds, and marble pavilions that add to the charming appearance. The Garden also houses a small museum.
Jagdish Temple
Built by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651 A.D, the Indo- Aryan Jagdish temple enshrines a black stone image of Vishnu as Jagannath, Lord of Universe. It is the largest temple in Udaipur.
Fateh Sagar
Located in the vicinity of the famous Saheliyon-ki-Bari Garden, Fateh Sagar is a beautiful lake, built by Maharana Fateh Singh in 1678. A canal built at the beginning of the 20th century connects it to the Lake Pichola. Nehru Park, a popular garden island with a boat-shaped café, is situated in the middle of the Lake.
