Nagaur Fair


The Nagaur Fair, an important event in Rajasthan has the distinction of being the second largest cattle fair of India. The festive ambience during the Nagaur Fair is permeated by the bellows of the cattle that are decorated by their owners and the general buzz that is associated with fairs such as these. The Nagaur Fair is the trading point for beautifully decorated cattle that include cows, bullocks, horses, oxen and camels. According to rough estimates, over 70,000 bullocks, camels and horses are traded every year during Nagaur Fair.
