By Road

The National Highway NH4A, NH17 and NH17A connect Goa with major towns of India. Frequent bus services operate from Goa to major towns like Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Mangalore, Belgaum and many other towns. These bus services are maintained by the state owned Kadamba Transport Corporation. Various other private buses operate to and from Goa that offer comfortable journey. By Sea
Reaching Goa by sea is an exhilarating experience to cherish lifetime. The catamaran sea journey from Mumbai to Goa was first initiated in 1994 by Damania Shipping. The travel time from Mumbai to Panaji is 7 hours. A catamaran service by Samlink, started in December 2004, from Mumbai to Panaji departures at around 9:00 am and arrives at around 6:30 pm.
