How To Reach Majorda Beach
Majorda Beach is accessible by Air, Road, and Rail and you need to land at Dabolim Airport to drive down to the Majorda Beach.
If you are traveling by Train from your hometown, get down at Margao Railway Station and board a Taxi or a Rented Car and drive down to the Majorda Beach.
The road services are well developed and well connected too. There are Buses that ply regularly. And you can hop onto one of them to reach The Majorda Beach. However, bus may not be convenient if you have many bags with you.
Activities At Majorda Beach
There is not much of activity you can indulge in at Majorda Beach. This is a very secluded Beach that has fewer visitors. So, there is not much hustle and bustle here. All you can do is Swim, Eat, Shop, Surf, and Sunbathe etc
Alternatively, what you can do is explore some of the Virgin Beaches that are at a distance. Take a stroll along the shore, enjoy the palm fringed Beach and the greenery all around. Once in a while, you may find few local kids running about with the stuff they have for sale.
In most of the cases, the stuff these kids sell include small artifacts made of Sea Shells. These are usually expensive and you need to negotiate to get a good deal. You will find Necklaces, Earrings, Rings and Pendants etc made of Sea Shells.
Moreover, Stones of Different Colors are also available on the Majorda Beach. This however, is of common occurrence on other Beaches too. Only the prices may differ.
When you walk towards the town, you may come across few Bakeries. This is because Majorda is known to have some of the Best Bakeries in Goa. So, you can get stuff from these Bakeries and enjoy your High Tea Sitting on the white sandy Beaches with the water of the Arabian Sea kissing your feet once in a while. This is an experience of a lifetime indeed.
