The Akshardham Temple in Delhi has entered recently in Guinness Book Of World Records since it is the largest Hindu temple in the world. The temple is situated on an area that is 86, 342 sq ft. It is 356 feet in Length and 141 Feet in height.

The Timings of Aksharsham Temple are from Tuesday through Sunday – 9 AM to 7 PM, The temple does not open on Mondays.

- Exhibitions – 9AM to 6 PM
- Premvati Food Court – 11AM to 10 PM

Reaching Akshardham Temple Delhi
The temple or “mandir” is at a distance of 9 km to 10 km from the railway station in New Delhi, provided you come out of the station from the Ajmeri Gate (Platform no. 12). You can also take auto rickshaws.
The Nizamuddin Railway Station is at a distance of 4 km from the temple. Auto rickshaws are available too.
You can also take the Delhi Metro Rail to reach Akshardham Temple.

Akshardham Temple Gujarat was built long before its counterpart was built in Delhi. The Swaminarayan temple in Gujarat was opened to the public in 1992 November. The temple is 108 feet High and 240 feet Long. The main attraction of this temple is the gold leaf that has Idol Swaminarayan’s image. The temple has many halls, the prominent ones being –
